The Full Program is made up of six modules:

  • Module 1 discusses terminology such as ‘CALD’.

  • Module 2 interrogates cross-cultural prevalence data about CSA.

  • Module 3 examines belief of myths about CSA across cultures.

  • Module 4 identifies the components of cultural competency for practitioners and organisations.

  • Module 5 looks at working well with interpreters.

  • Module 6 summarises the role of patriarchy and white privilege.


This program was first designed and evaluated in face-to-face mode but has since been converted to online mode so it can be available to all relevant service providers across Australia and internationally.

  • Counsellors

  • Social workers

  • Psychologists

  • General practitioners (GPs)

  • Psychiatrists

  • Volunteers

  • Legal advisors

  • Interpreters

  • Researchers

  • Policy makers

  • Program trainers

  • Child protection/maltreatment

  • Sexual assault

  • Domestic and family violence

  • Multicultural affairs

  • Children and young people

  • Mental health

Upon completion you will receive CPD Certification, and Australian and international organisations will be added to the list under Accredited Service Providers. Organisations are welcome to note their accreditation on their website.

The program is self-paced with flexible course structures to choose from. The full course offers 5 hours CPD. The full price structure (AUD) is here. All modules are priced in line with AASW industry standards. Discounts are available to organisations enrolling multiple staff for their professional development. Please kindly note: Invitations to speak in person will be considered on a case-by-case basis but may need to be declined due to the re-triggering of the multiple traumas of racism and sexism. The online program has partly been prepared for this reason – to help mitigate risk to personal health/well-being. The program is recorded as if face-to-face to provide an ‘in person’ feeling.
